Soccer

On the 22nd of may (yesterday) I played soccer in Rollestin. Sadly I lost a close 3-2. In the first half the wind was helping us however in the second half the wind was against us. The goal box was completely disproportionate to the pitch as the pitch was quite wide and the edge of the goal box was only one metre from the out line.

X Country

Before the race

I'm really nervous and eager to get going. I'm still at school and I can't wait till we go and leave school. I predict that I'll come 4th but I really don't know. Last year I came 3rd because Jack passed out.

After the race

I came 4th! I bet Marcus, Samuel, Riely and Jack. At the start I was behind Jack and Riely for a quite a while but in the forest I lost Riely and Jack. I think I will be going to tri schools. Overall I’m pretty chuffed with my result.

Mt Richardson

I was excited in the morning packing my bag. The way up I was with Riely, Alex and Harrry till the last part. It was great to see the top! When I was at the top It was really windy! There were great veiws and I had lunch and couldn't wait to get home. On the way down it seemed a million times longer! I started to get really sore heels about half way down. Then I reached the bottom. I rolled down the hil, I was so happy!

Soccer, 14/5/16

It was the best soccer game this season because we won our first game. We played Hornby at Maria Andrews (in Rangiora). They were all a lot bigger than us but not as skilled orb fast as us. The ball spent most of the time in their half so as a defender I wasn't doing much.

I am going to review the horse and his boy

It is the book after the lion, witch and the wardrobe. It is  great book which has a good plot. I would recommend reading it after reading the magicians nephews and the lion, witch and the wardrobe.

7/4/15 Soccer

This soccer season has been really bad for my team as we have not won a single game.  We went down nine nill to a team that has won every game. It is  lucky it is  still grading  games. the highlight of this game was when the other team got a corner and they nearly  scored a goal but I saved it just in time by kicking it really hard but accidentally hit my own goalie really hard in the chest so I had kick it again but the second time it was not a great kick.

Book review

This term I have been reading unseen by Paul Jennings. It has eight short stories. I have really enjoyed this book and I would highly recommend it. My favourite story is piddler on the roof. Paul Jennings has a lot more of these great books.

Run to Rio

This year our class is running to Rio. For this event we are counting how many Kilometres we do in our cross country training. Then we times it by 100 so we actually get there. Rio is 11,771 kilometres away. I have made a scratch program to record how far we run. This is the program, please do NOT fiddle with it. We would appreciate it if you filled in the chart in Keraru.
